God Makes A Promise.....

"God makes a promise. Faith believes it. Hope anticipates it. Patience quietly awaits it." It’s in the waiting that’s hard, it’s in the waiting we can get weary, but it's also in the waiting we are changed and we grow closer to God. "All of us will wait passively, or we'll wait expectantly. A passive person hopes something good will happen and is willing to sit around waiting to see if it does. After a short time, he gives up, saying, "That’s it! I've waited and waited and nothing's happened." The passive person has a lot of wishbone but not much backbone! The expectant person, on the other hand, is hopeful, believing the answer is just around the corner, due to arrive any minute. His belief is not a passive thing. His heart is full of hope, expecting his problem to be solved at any moment. He wakes up every morning expecting to find his answer. He may wait and wait, but suddenly what he’s been waiting for happens."Joyce Meyer Are you passively waiting or being expectant? What do you need? What are you believing for? Things you can do while your waiting on God: 1. Be expectant...Put your hope in His word. Psalm 130:5-7 I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word do I hope. My soul waits for the Lord. More than the watchmen for the morning;More than the watchmen for the morning. O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is lovingkindness, And with Him is abundant redemption. 2. Trust in the Lord, lean not on your not own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). 3. Wait for God's promise to come to pass. WATCH! Micah 7:7 But I will watch for the Lord; I will wait confidently for God, who will save me. My God will hear me.

Romans 4:17 We gotta call those things that be not as though they are! 4. Remember the things God has done for you from the past. Journaling helps to do that. Psalm 77:11 I will remember your great deeds, LORD; I will recall the wonders you did in the past. 5. Be steadfast - 1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

6. Be thankful I Thessalonians 5:18 – “…in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

God's promises are for you precious one.

2 Peter 1:4

And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Matthew 11:28-29

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Isaiah 40:29-31

He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Get in the word and find His promises and begin speaking them over yourself and your family. Speak it out loud. Life and death are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words. God loves you and he is waiting and longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice;Blessed (happy, fortunate) are all those who long for Him . He is so GOOD AND FAITHFUL! I am just in awe of what He is doing. I see him working all around me. My friend, He brings restoration. Tell him what you need. Keep Asking, Seeking, Knocking my friend. What the enemy meant to harm and destroy, God works for our good! Big hugs, Nicole💗
